Ford Fiesta Named One of the Seven Best Cars for Under $16,000

Ford Fiesta | Havelock, NC

Each year, U.S. News and World Report releases its roundup of top budget-friendly cars. For 2019, it included the Ford Fiesta among its list of the seven best cars available for under $16,000.

The List

The publication’s intent for providing this list is to emphasize a fact that many car shoppers overlook when hunting for a car: you don’t have to splurge to get a gratifying new ride. All of the models in the top seven ranking fell into the subcompact car category. This means that every winner excels at both affordability and mileage. And, as an added bonus, they’re typically cost-efficient to insure.

Deserving of accolades

U.S. News praised the 2019 Fiesta for its balance of peppy energy and athletic handling. It also gave a head-nod to the model for providing available perks like keyless entry, cruise control, and power windows while still keeping the overall MSRP under the $16,000 mark.

With an EPA-estimated highway efficiency of 35 miles per gallon, you can travel farther before needing to refill the gas tank.* You can also personalize the Fiesta by choosing either the sedan or hatchback body styles and picking one of the eight available exterior colors, which range from Bohai Bay Mint to Outrageous Green Metallic to Magnetic.

Celebrate the 2019 Fiesta model’s recent recognition when you stop by Riverside Ford to test drive one.

*EPA-estimated city/hwy mpg for the model indicated. See fueleconomy.gov for fuel economy of other engine/transmission combinations. Actual mileage will vary. On plug-in hybrid models and electric models, fuel economy is stated in MPGe. MPGe is the EPA equivalent measure of gasoline fuel efficiency for electric mode operation.
