2022 Ford Explorer ST Adds RWD, New ST-Line Joins Lineup

2022 Ford Explorer | Havelock, NC

Ford is making big changes to the Explorer lineup for 2022. Namely, there's a new, cool option if you want the style of the Explorer ST but don't quite need all that power.

The 2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line is the latest addition to the lineup of America's bestselling SUV of all time.[1] Starting at $7,570 MSRP[2] below the price of the Explorer ST, the ST-Line offers the fierce looks of the high-performance ST with the still-robust 300-horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost®. Because Ford is all about letting you have your cake and eat it, too.

Along those same lines, the new 2022 Ford Explorer ST is now standard with rear-wheel drive. This means you can get the raw, exciting power for the ST but don't have to pay extra for Intelligent 4WD if you don't use it.

But wait, there's more! The 2022 Ford Explorer lineup is seeing other key changes as well. That powerful 400-horsepower V6 offered with the Explorer ST is now the standard option on the ultra-luxurious King Ranch and Platinum models. And with all models, you can now opt for your choice of a second-row bench or captain's chairs at no added cost.

Ford is all about giving you exactly what you want - and so is Riverside Ford. Visit our showroom in Havelock, North Carolina, and we'll show you why Ford is all about pleasing.
