The popular Ford Ranger truck made a grand return in 2019 after an 8-year break. The 2019 model year marked the introduction of the Ranger's fourth generation, and the truck was completely redesigned from bumper to bumper at that time. For 2020, Ford tweaked the standard features slightly to improve the driver's experience. Also, the FX2 Off-Road Package is now available. The Ford Ranger for 2020 continues to be available in three trims, and these are the XL, the XLT, and the Lariat. All trims receive 270 horsepower from a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that is linked to a 10-speed electronic transmission. The truck's performance across all trims is elevated by standard equipment like auto start-stop, an independent suspension system, and more.
The Ranger's exterior design remains untouched for 2020. It reflects the perfect balance between athleticism and confidence, with muscular definition running through the doors and a powerful stance on the road. Exterior equipment includes a power-locking tailgate, auto on-off headlights, tow hooks, fog lamps, and other equipment. Inside, the Ranger seats five adults with cloth or leatherette seating.
