Exciting changes include the new unibody platform as well as the longitudinally-mounted engine. Performance of the 2020 Ford Explorer
Underneath the hood, the standard engine for 2020 is a turbo 2.3L four-cylinder. It produces 300-horsepower as well as 310 lb-ft of torque. All models are mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive is also available for all trim levels.
